Guided by Spirit
You want me small and saying yes
Follow orders, not impress
Tired of this, I ‘ve had it, stop;
Insult and curse me, I won’t drop.
Cause my flow and pulse are free to be.
Free to run their course, wild, as women should be.
Unfold, and blossom as I go, guided by spirit, irresistible.
Diminish and hurt me, insult me some more
downgrade, humiliate me on the go,
The wind beneath my wings you give me, did you know?
The alchemy from pain to power, I will not forgo.
Cause my flow and pulse are free to be.
Free to run their course, wild, as women should be.
Unfold, and blossom as I go, guided by spirit, irresistible.
