Dear friends,
This is an update of our progress towards the protection and preservation of the mosaic floor of the Aegina synagogue.
The first donations received have successfully enabled us to fund the first phase of the project.
Namely, a professional survey of the site of the mosaic floor of the Aegina synagogue -seen on top left!
Thanks to the generosity of Anat Soel, Jaklin Hatzopoulou, Annie Nahmia, Elda Nahmia, and two anonymous donors the funds have been raised for this first phase. Thank you!
There is still a long way to go. So, I encourage you too, to take a step and donate towards funding the roof that will protect the mosaic floor of the Aegina synagogue.
